Join our vibrant translation community and learn to work with ancient texts from the Tibetan tradition. Whether you're developing your initial skills or looking to deepen your existing knowledge, our collaborative environment offers the perfect setting for growth - inspired by the ancient practice of group translation.
Course Structure
Who Can Join?
We welcome everyone with basic reading ability and fundamental grammar knowledge of Literary Dharma Tibetan. The training offers two levels to accommodate different expertise:
Beginners/Intermediate Level
Daily Schedule:
- Morning session: Individual work on texts with continuous instructor support (10:00-12:00)
- Midday session: Group analysis and translation practice
- Afternoon session: Continued translation work
- Final hour (16:30-17:30): Group revision
Special Feature: Italian-speaking participants can join dedicated sessions from 10:00-12:00 (minimum participants required)
Advanced Level
- Daily sessions from 14:30 to 16:30
- Optional participation in intermediate text revision sessions
- Opportunity to contribute comments and suggestions at the Intermediate studnts revision
Learning Support
To ensure continuous progress, we provide daily short video recordings explaining the translated text portions, helping students maintain steady progress throughout the course.
