Chöd Retreat

with Costantino Albini

The Chöd is an important practice to gain a profound understanding, to grasp and to put the whole teaching into action the whole teaching. The practice of Chöd was created in Tibet by Machig Labdron (XI century) and is the fruit of the profound experiential comprehension that this famous master had of Buddhas teachings. Many versions of these teachings exist and have been transmitted within different lineages. Chögyal Namkhai Norbu had received the transmission of many of these systems and in 1976, during the first teaching retreat he gave in Italy, according to indications he had received in his dreams, he devised the very concise version we practice in the Dzogchen Community.

The course is restricted to those persons who have had transmission of this practice from Chögyal Namkhai Norbu.
