The Great Stupa of Merigar will be open from 7:00 in the morning to 21:00 in the evening for those who wish to pay homage to the bodily remains of our Beloved Master, Chögyal Namkhai Norbu.
The entire day will be dedicated to the practice of Guruyoga.
- The Stupa at Merigar will be open from 7 a.m. until 9 p.m.
- You may go to the Stupa at anytime during the day to visit and pay homage to the remains of the master.
- Merigar is a Pedestrian Zone and visitors are required to leave their cars and motor bikes in the car parks. You are requested to progress to the Stupa and Gönpa on foot. Anyone with mobility problems should contact the Merigar office for advice and help.
- To get to the Stupa you need to pass in front of the yellow house or the new road and then there is a path that is signposted leading to the north side of the Stupa.
- Taking photographs inside the Stupa is not permitted.
- People are requested not to congregate or loiter in or around the Stupa. You may enter the Stupa to pay homage to the Master’s remains and then follow upon exiting by circumambulating.
- During this whole period practice reserved to pratictioners of the Dzogchen Community will be continuing at the Gönpa. We ask you to maintain silence when you approach the Stupa and the Gönpa.
- The Guruyoga practice will be repeated continuously in the Gönpa from 7 a.m until 5 p.m. It will be repeated every hour without any pause or break.
