Second level Vajra Dance relates to the Dance of the Song of the Vajra. Attending Teacher Training is primarily a way to deepen our practice of Vajra Dance. It is also the first step that may allow us to eventually become teachers.
Teacher Training contents:
Deepening knowledge of the steps and movements of the Dance of the Song of the Vajra.
Training to properly sing the melody of the Song of the Vajra while dancing.
Study and reflections on the meaning of the three considerations and integration.
Teachers Training is exclusively reserved to:
Those who have received the transmission from Chögyal Namkhai Norbu or Namkhai Yeshi.
Existing, up-to-date members of the International Dzogchen Community, that is, those who have been members from 2023 (or prior) until 2025 and whose membership is up to date.
Those who have attended the Dance of the Song of the Vajra courses with qualified teachers and have a good knowledge of both female and male parts of the Dance.
Priority to attend the on-site training will be given to first level Vajra Dance Teachers and Candidates who have previously participated in Vajra Dance Teacher Trainings (at least two).
All Vajra Dance teachers who are unable to attend the on-site training and those dancers who meet the above requirements may attend the training remotely (online, via Zoom). However, the attention of the lead teachers will be focused on the participants present at Merigar West. All applications for the Teacher Training will be reviewed by the teachers leading the training. You will be notified by e-mail if your application has been accepted.
