Wildlife in Merigar

Who are the wild animals that live around us and what do they do?

Do our daily habits and behaviors change their daily habits and behaviors? How?

We are participating on an international wildlife photography study project near our population centers, our homes, our towns and cities.

Cameratrapping helps to observe and understand the behavior of animals and their movements. The aim of this project is also to establish an exchange between German and Italian youngsters and students, which are interested in science. Therefore, a cooperation with MaxCine, the center for communication and exchange, at the Max Planck Institute of Animal Behavior has begun.

In and around Merigar, camera traps have been set up. These are some of the images we have collected in recent months.
