2022 AWARDS

Welcome everyone,

We are very pleased to announce the opening of the first fundraising session on December 8th.

This year 65 people will receive a gift, but our thanks go to everyone, especially to those who, among the approximately 170 donors, have not been selected.

As you know, the Namkhai family donated the objects that are for us all the dearest memories of the Master, objects that accompanied him in his daily life.

The purpose of our fundraising is to ensure the maintenance of the Great Stupa of Merigar.

The 2022 collection is the first edition of this event that will accompany us for the next few years during which we will once again be able to experience the adventure of donating in our own name or for others. Characteristic of this collection was the fact that many donated tickets to others and small groups of practitioners gathered to get a collective number. All of this has occurred and may also be repeated in the future.

The drawing of the winners was carried out by the Namkhai family who communicated the winning numbers to us a few days ago. We then matched the numbers to the names.

We will read their names together with the specification of the country from which the donor comes, so to give everyone a taste of the breadth of our international community.

The prizes are made up of objects which, due to their closeness to the Master, are sacred to us in the most important sense of the term. For this reason we thought it was not right to send them by mailing service.

The prizes can be collected here in Merigar for those who have the opportunity to do so. The prizes of those who are not be able to come here soon enough will be entrusted to someone who will have the opportunity to come, as indicated by the winner.

The packages are closed, we don't know what they contain. Whoever wins will have the honor and pleasure of opening the gift.

This event gave light to the commitment and solidarity of the Dzogchen Community practitioners who never backed down when it came to helping, contributing and collaborating. A big thank you to everyone, those who were able to participate, but in general to all the practitioners of our community, without limits.

Finally, we dedicate the last words to thank the Namkhai family, Rosa, Yeshi, Yuchen and their families who, through the 8 December Fund, have once again given us testimony of what generosity and kindness mean. For all of us they are the pillars of the Community, always showing us which is the right way to cultivate closeness to the Master. We will always be grateful for this and their continued dedication to everyone.

How to collect your prize

Congratulations to the 65 winners of the 1st edition of the 8 December Fund for the maintenance of the Great Stupa of Merigar!

As you know, the prizes are made up of objects which, due to their closeness to the Master, are sacred to us in the most important sense of the term. For this reason we thought it was not right to send them through the mailing service.

The prizes can be collected here in Merigar at the yellow house, on the first floor, by asking for Salima or Pia from 9 December from 9 to 13 and from 15 to 18.

Those who will not be able to come here soon are kindly requested to contact our team at fund8december@dzogchen.it
