We are pleased to host this meeting of the Light of Kailash Lectures, a series of conference on Tibetan culture organized by Shang Shung Institute UK within our Library Talks!
Tibetan art is a language of forms and colours. One of its purposes is to guide and support practitioners on the path to enlightenment. It has generally been considered somewhat codified and conservative. In this talk we shall look at one of Drugu Choegyal Rinpoche’s works as an example of how his work, while founded on traditional artistic principles and aims, reflects his originality and unique aesthetic sense.
