Oliver LeickOliver Leick lives with his family in Austria.
He has worked as a schoolteacher for 40 years and he retired in 2016.
He has been student of Chögyal Namkhai Norbu since 1977.
He became an authorized instructor for Yantra Yoga in 2002 and an authorized instructor for Santi Maha Sangha in 2010. Over the last 40 years he has led more than 165 retreats and given public talks in many different places and countries all around the world.
In 2000 he founded the Shang Shung Institute Austria for Tibetan studies and has been its director ever since.
Since 2002 he is managing the KA-TER translation project for the translation of Tibetan texts – mainly by Namkhai Norbu - into English.
In 2018 he became the vice president of the Atiyoga Foundation.
