Breathe is a wellness method that anyone can apply. Consisting of a series of simple physical and breathing exercises, it was developed by Fabio Andrico, who has been teaching Hatha Yoga and Yantra Yoga for more than thirty years. It allows us to become aware of our own breath and unblock the tension that makes our respiration shallow and fragmented.
By focusing on relaxing the tension that makes us breathe in an unharmonious way, we can experience a profound relaxation that we can take away into our daily lives. Breathe is useful for everyone, be they experienced or novice yoga practitioners or anyone else simply interested in breathing more deeply and with better coordination.
The objective of this course is to train instructors in the application of the method. It is open to anyone who already has a solid background in Yantra Yoga or other forms of yoga or breathwork.
It includes the open course for beginners (28-30 August).
Participation in the course is a prerequisite for continuing in training as an instructor, but it is not an automatic guarantee of receiving the instructor certificate at the end of the course.
Fabio Andrico, as the originator of the method, may at his discretion issue a certificate directly after the course or at a later date, when he considers the student sufficiently prepared and mature to teach.
Mats will be spaced apart as required by government and regional regulations, and participants must adhere to the specified distance, bring a mask, and sanitize their hands at the entrance. Those who have a fever or flu-like symptoms may not participate, nor can anyone who has been in contact with people with Covid-19.
You are welcome to bring your own mat or at least one towel to cover the yoga mat. It will also be possible to purchase a new mat on site. No snacks or drinks will be provided. Please bring your own if you feel the need. A water fountain is available near the Gönpa where you can fill your bottle.
To maintain safe distancing, the number of participants is limited to 20 people.
