Cristiana De Falco

Cristiana De Falco was born in Naples; she attended the Classical High School and later the University of Naples, Institute of Oriental Studies, where in 1985 she graduated in Tibetan Language and Literature with Prof. Chögyal Namkhai Norbu. She had already met him and had joined her first Dzogchen retreat in Prata, near Naples, in July 1977; ever since then she has attended nearly all the retreats held by him in Italy and many abroad.

She lives in Arcidosso and works as a Middle/High School English teacher. She has worked as a translator for many years; among her works are Chögyal Namkhai Norbu's The Stairway to Liberation and Kumar Kumari, and also Taranatha's A Biography of the Great Master Padmasambhava, all edited and translated from Tibetan into English and Italian, and published by Shang Shung Editions. Among her English-Italian translations are The Crystal and the Way of Light;  Rainbow Body, and  The Light of Kailash, all by Chögyal Namkhai Norbu.

She translated orally nearly all the retreats held by Chögyal Namkhai Norbu and  transmitted via webcast, and has done live oral translation at many of his and Khyentse Yeshe's  retreats at Merigar.

In 2004 Cristiana graduated in Ku Nye Tibetan Massage and in 2008 in Craniosacral Biodynamics. Since 2007 she has been studying Classical and Modern Singing at the Music Schools of Castel del Piano and Arcidosso (GR, Italy).
